Blender.io Review
User Review

Unlike any other Bitcoin mixing services, Blender.io is one of the best platforms, especially for beginners or those who don’t have enough technical knowledge in Bitcoin mixing. Aside from the fact that the website and platform itself is very user-friendly, it also allows users to determine the amount of service fee they are willing to pay. They also have a welcoming minimum deposit limit making it easy for those who want to experiment with the service to start mixing. However, the only problem with the platform is that it doesn’t have a native support system and requires users to send them an email when a problem with their transactions arise. This opens up unnecessary risks for users’ privacy. Nonetheless, all in all, Blinder.io is one of the most secure platforms as it does not keep any logs of the transaction once all mixed coins have been sent to destination addresses within 24 hours.

  • Low fee
  • Mixer accessible via Tor

What is Blender.io?

Blender.io is one of the most reputable and most user-friendly (in terms of the process and the rate of the fees per transaction) Bitcoin mixing platform available for users right now. It offers a straightforward process and flexible service fees that can be determined by the users themselves, depending on the service that they want.

Much like any other Bitcoin mixing platforms out there, Blender.io mixes the coins sent to them by different users together in order to cut the flow of transactions involving the coins you own and replace them with new mixed coins. Once coins undergo the mixing process, the transactions linked to those coins will be virtually impossible to be linked to one particular Bitcoin wallet address.

Blender.io Features

Fast Payout

Blender.io is one of the Bitcoin mixing platforms that offer fast payout options to its users. With this mixer, users can receive/send the processed (mixed) coins after only three (3) confirmations. As earlier mentioned, users can also choose optional preset or random delay to add an extra layer of anonymity to their transactions up to 24 hours and send them to different transactions.

Can accommodate up to 8 payout addresses

One of the golden rules of making Bitcoin transactions is to use as many Bitcoin addresses as possible. With Blender.io, users have the option to send their mixed coins to up to eight (8) payout addresses. While mixing coins provides a layer of privacy to your transactions, they will still be recorded in the blockchain. What randomizing the payout to 8 different payout addresses does is it confuses those who will follow the mixing process to find out someone’s identity because the payouts will be sent in different amounts and not just one which can still be reasonably compared to the amount you sent to the platform – which gives those who review your transactions an idea that your coins passed through a Bitcoin mixer.

Letter of Guarantee

Blender.io provides a Letter of Guarantee, which is a digitally signed confirmation that this address has truly been generated by their server. The signature will directly be originated from their main Bitcoin account to provide users a level of confidence in the transaction. As proof of obligation, the Letter of Guarantee also serves as a receipt that users can use to report problems regarding the mixing process.

It can be downloaded from the deposit-page, prior to sending the coins to the platform. It can also be used in case you make a mistake with your deposit, sending an amount lower than the acceptable limit, for example.

Automatic log removal

One of the unique features that only Blender. Io is offering is their “No Data Retention” policy, which deletes all the log within 24 hours after the transaction has been completed. Those mixers who keep their logs longer has the potential to be de-anonymized and be subjected to attacks that could ultimately reveal their users’ identities.

Accessible via Tor

While Blender.io is also accessible via its website, you can always (and it is highly recommended) use the Tor browser by following this URL: http://blenderiocpxfema.onion

Mixing code

Having a mixing code is not unique to Blender.io, but it is one of the most important features to look for in the Bitcoin mixing platform. What the mixing code does is that it makes sure that the coins you sent from previous transactions will not be mixed with the coins that you send later. It ensures that all the coins you receive are clean and are mixed properly.

Blender.io - how much is the fee?

As mentioned earlier, Blender.io allows users to determine the service fee they want to pay that range from 0.5% to 2.5% for each operation, plus an extra 0.00025 BTC is taken for each target address.

The more fees you pay, the faster the transactions will be processed. Paying 2.5% will make sure that your transaction is prioritized, and the randomizing process will be optimized. However, you can simply opt to pay the minimum of 0.5%, a pretty normal rate across the industry.

How long does a mixing take on Blender.io?

According to their website, Blender.io has a lot of clean coins in its inventory, which allows its users to process their mixing transactions independently and not reliant on the coins that other users are contributing to the pool of coins to be randomized. However, the maximum turnover time for each transaction is 24 hours.

Users can also choose to delay the payout times within 24 hours to add a layer of anonymity to their transactions.

What is the minimum/maximum deposit limit?

There are minimum amounts that Blender.io requires to initiate a mix. Users need to deposit at least 0.001 BTC for their transactions to be processed. All deposits made below the minimum amount will be considered as donations and will not be refundable. However, according to their website, it is also possible to merge your first deposit to the next ones if ever they don’t meet the minimum deposit amount.

When it comes to the maximum amount allowed to be mixed, Blender.io says that it totally depends on the number of coins available on their platform at the time of mixing. The updated maximum depositable amount will be displayed on their home page for reference

Users can also choose to delay the payout times within 24 hours to add a layer of anonymity to their transactions.

Why use Blender.io?

It's a good platform to start mixing

Blender.io allows users to determine how much service fee they are willing to pay per transaction between 0.5% and 2.5%. The higher the fee paid, the faster the processing, and the more randomized it would be. The rate is very welcoming to those who want to start mixing their coins. Furthermore, it also has a relatively low minimum deposit making it easy for beginners to experiment and test their transactions in the platform.

User-friendly UX

User experience design is one of the most important facets of a good mixing service. The platform allows users to mix coins directly on their homepage with a pretty much straightforward process. If you have basic English understanding and background on how Bitcoin works, the website is very easy to use.

What are the disadvantages of Blender.io?

Support is through email

Similar to some platforms, Blender.io can only be contacted for support questions through their official email address ([email protected]). As mentioned in earlier reviews of other platforms, contacting support through emails exposes users to unnecessary risks because there is a third party involved that keeps logs of the data divulged during the supposed private conversation between the platform and the users.
